One years ago, this question was the main question of my day, and it is still the main question of today for many of us. Preparation for any of exam it is a hard work and might be common cause of our stresses. However, there are a lot of tips for taking English Proficiency Test easily with successful results. Following my own experience, I want to share some good tips for future test takers.

TIP NUMBER ONE: Choose a good serviced test organization with convenient test gadgets. By taking exam, I assumed that the condition of test taker highly depending on the atmosphere of the testing place. Our condition is strongly effecting to our results. That means good condition is one of the main reason of high scores. British Council is one of the reliable organization that can give you high satisfaction with the latest test technology. During the test period I mentioned that, every single part of test were well organized and especially, listening gadgets worked properly without any distorted sounds.

TIP NUMBER TWO: Make a right decision when choosing type of tests. There are two types of the IELTS exam in British Council. One is Test Based on Computer and another one is Test Based on Paper. In my case, at the first time I chose, test based on computer, because my typing on the computer was quite fast, but later I decided to change it to test based on paper because of my sensitive eye condition. Changing the type of test was not difficult - even I, being already registered, I could change the type of exam easily with British Council. I recommend choosing the test based on computer if you are good at the typing and can sit in front of the computer for more than 3 hours. However, if your eyes get easily tired or sitting for a long time in front of the computer makes your condition bad, it is better to choose test based on paper. There is not a big difference between them - both of them are provided in a very good quality by British Council.

TIP NUMBER THREE: Have fun with English. It is not easy to learn any of the languages unless you not enjoy it. From my experience, I have started learning English from a young age, when I was just seven years old. However, I have never thought that learning English can be fun until I started learning it differently. So how I started it? I just changed my lifestyle - changed my music playlist in to English songs, started to watch English movies with English subtitles, and started reading some interesting English news. Of course, at the beginning, I did not understand some words, and sometimes I even could not catch the whole sentence. But, day by day I started to understand the topic, I started to enjoy reading English articles. Furthermore, British Council provides very exiting IELTS reading topics, that can open another new world by reading topics about environment, science, and facts about our life. Not only Reading section but in the Listening Section also you can find useful conversations that we can meet in the real life. I think for me, it was very good practice as well.

Because of this knowledge, I could easily adapt to abroad student life. I wish all the test takers good luck! Make your right decision and achieve your goals!
