Three panellists engaged in a discussion on stage at the World Conference on Creative Economy 2024 against a colourful geometric background

From 2–4 October 2024, we participated in the World Conference on Creative Economy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as a knowledge partner. The conference brought together global experts, policymakers and creative leaders to discuss the role of creative industries in driving innovation and sustainable development.

As part of our commitment to developing the creative economy, together with the Global Creative Economy Council (GCEC), we curated five sessions that addressed its critical challenges and opportunities. By bringing together experts and speakers from the UK and across Central Asia, we ensured the sessions were both locally relevant and infused with global best practices.

These sessions provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, shared insights and explored how the creative industries can foster positive change in diverse communities, both locally and globally.
